Broad overview of excel uses in financial accounting etc. Topic is essential to our practice.  I learned specific functions to apply next day at work.  Need more excel courses with narrower scope. Could use 8hrs of just pivot tables or data commands.  Get FICPA to offer more and we members will attend.  Discussion leader kept course on track and answered specific tech questions by demonstration.  Very helpful.

30.  A suggestion for this course is to have the attendees or participants to allow submission of certain types of topic related questions in advance so the discussion leader can address these issues or theme of questions more pertinent to the class participants interests.

31.  Possibly one of the best instructors I have had. This guy new when we were tired and made a joke to wake us up, and his PowerPoint presentations (at break time) were a great diversion to let us disengage, so we could start thinking again after the break. His knowledge of QuickBooks was probably second to none, but his way to keep you entertained while you were learning is his best attribute. Thanks.

35.  Discussion leader - very knowledgeable, but did feel that many of his clients are in a much higher revenue bracket than most of us attendees deal with regularly.  so, we face different issues. Materials  - adequate.  Would have helped if we each had a computer to use during course to follow along better.
